Hansal Mehta, Manoj Bajpayee, Varun Dhawan mourn demise of Rituraj Singh

Senior Bollywood actor Rituraj Singh passed away at 59 due to a cardiac arrest. Known for his work in shows like ‘Banegi Apni Baat’ and ‘Anupamaa’, the industry mourns the sudden loss of a talented and warm-hearted actor.

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta expressed his disbelief at Rituraj’s passing, saying, “Rituraj!!!! Can’t believe this!…Untapped actor and a warm human. Gone suddenly and too early.” Actor Manoj Bajpayee also mourned the loss, writing, “How can this be true Ritz? Why? Such a devastating news to wake up to ! Rest in peace Rituraj my friend! Om Shanti.”

Even actor Varun Dhawan, who shared the screen with Rituraj in ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, and Sonu Sood expressed their condolences. Arshad Warsi, who shared a building with Rituraj, wrote, “I am so saddened to know that Ritu Raj passed away…lost a friend and a great actor… will miss you brother…”

Rituraj was discharged from the hospital after a stomach infection, but his health deteriorated last night, leading to a fatal heart attack. With a career spanning over three decades, Rituraj’s contributions to the Indian television industry will be remembered by his peers and fans.
