Used to charge desired fees for Acting

Many times it used to happen that he used to leave the film if he did not get the desired fee. He left a film of NN Sippy just because he was not being given 80 lakh rupees as per the demand. Amrish had said in the interview when I do not compromise on my acting, then why should I take fewer fees. The producer is getting money from his distributors because I am in the film. People come to the theater to see my acting. Then am I not entitled to higher fees? Sippy Sahab had signed me for his film long back, with a promise that works on the film would start in a year. It’s been three years now, and my fees have increased according to the market rate. If he cannot pay me the same fee as my work, then I cannot work in his film.
