Health Ministry introduces new iOS app ‘myCGHS’ with enhanced security features

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare launched the ‘myCGHS’ app for iOS devices, providing enhanced access to Electronic Health Records for CGHS beneficiaries. The app includes features like two-factor authentication and mPIN for security.

Union Health Secretary, Apurva Chandra, highlighted the significance of the app, stating it empowers beneficiaries with convenient access to healthcare features. The initiative aligns with the government’s vision to leverage technology for improving healthcare services.

The myCGHS app offers various services such as booking online appointments, downloading CGHS card, accessing lab reports, checking medicine history, claim status, referral details, locating wellness centers, and more. Developed by NIC Himachal Pradesh and NIC Health Team, the app is now available for download on iOS and Android platforms for free.
