Hero Mavrick 440 Deliveries Set to Begin on April 15th

Hero MotoCorp is set to kickstart deliveries of its flagship motorcycle, the Mavrick 440, starting from 15th April. The bike, which competes with the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Bajaj Dominar 400, and Jawa 350, will be sold exclusively through Hero’s Premia dealerships.

The Hero Mavrick 440 comes in three variants – Base, Mid, and Top, priced at ₹1.99 lakh, ₹2.14 lakh, and ₹2.24 lakh respectively. Bookings are already open, with customers who booked before 15th March also receiving a Mavrick Kit of accessories and merchandise worth ₹10,000.

Featuring a roadster design with a muscular fuel tank and a mix of modern and retro elements, the Mavrick 440 is a departure from the cruiser style of its sibling, the Harley-Davidson X440. The bike boasts metal construction for the fuel tank, shrouds, and fenders, with LED illumination and a digital speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity.

Powered by the same engine as the Harley-Davidson X440, the Mavrick 440 delivers 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, slightly lower than its counterpart. The engine is tuned for low-end torque, offering a smooth ride for city commutes and highway journeys, paired with a 6-speed gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch.

Built on a steel trellis frame, the Mavrick 440 features 43 mm telescopic forks at the front and 7-step adjustable twin shocks at the rear, both offering 130 mm of travel. Braking performance is handled by a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS, ensuring safety on the road.
