Honda CB125R 2024 revealed for European market, set to compete with KTM 125 Duke
Honda has introduced the new 2024 CB125R motorcycle in the global market, a neo-retro cafe racer designed to compete with the KTM 125 Duke. The bike features new color options and a 5-inch TFT screen borrowed from the CB1000R, but there are no plans to launch it in India.
The 2024 Honda CB125R comes in four new color schemes and sports a 5-inch TFT screen for displaying essential information like the tachometer, speedometer, and fuel gauge. It meets Euro 5+ emission norms with improved performance thanks to a new catalyzer in the exhaust system, offering 14.75 bhp of power and 11.6 Nm of torque.
Equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, fuel injection, and underbelly exhaust, the CB125R has a top speed of 105 kmph. It features a tubular and pressed steel frame, Showa’s Separate Function Big Piston forks at the front, and a monoshock at the rear. The bike also comes with dual-channel ABS modulated by an IMU for safety.
The 2024 Honda CB125R aims to provide a stylish and performance-oriented option in the 125 cc motorcycle segment, targeting young riders looking for a blend of modern features and retro design. Despite its advancements, the CB125R will not be available in the Indian market, focusing solely on global sales.
