One of the important festivals celebrated in Hinduism, Shri Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Shri Krishna. Lord Shri Krishna is worshiped as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism. He is known for the establishment of Dharma, leading the Pandavas to victory against the Kauravas, and preaching the Bhagavad Gita. He is the embodiment of love, kindness, compassion, wisdom, and power. The episodes regarding his life, such as the episode of butter stealing, Raasleela, and sermon of the Gita, are extremely significant in Hinduism and are remembered during this festival.
