HTC Wildfire E2 Play With 48-Megapixel Camera, 4,600mAh Launched: Price and Other Specs

The newest entry-level smartphone from the Taiwanese company, the HTC Wildfire E2 Play, was introduced in Africa. The new HTC phone has a quad rear camera system with a 48-megapixel primary sensor and is available in two different colors. The Unisoc T606 SoC, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, powers the HTC Wildfire E2 Play. The smartphone has a 4,600mAh battery powering it. According to claims, the battery can power up to 19 hours of audio playback on a single charge.

The new HTC Wildfire E2 Play’s cost and availability information is not provided on HTC’s the company’s official in Africa. There will be Black and Blue color selections for it. The HTC Wildfire E2 Play is not yet available outside of the United States, according to HTC. Remember that the HTC Wildfire E2 Plus was released in 2021, and the pricing of its single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option was RUB 12,990 (approximately Rs. 13,400).

Specifications

With a 6.82-inch HD+ (720×1,640 pixels) display, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, and 450 nits of peak brightness, the dual-SIM (Nano) HTC Wildfire E2 Play runs Android 12. The selfie camera is housed in a waterdrop-shaped notch on the display. An Unisoc T606 SoC and 8GB of RAM drive the smartphone. Additionally, there is a microSD card slot for an additional 128GB of onboard storage (up to 256GB).

The options regarding connectivity available on the HTC Wildfire E2 Play include a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi:802.11a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 5. This phone includes a proximity sensor, gyroscope, gravity sensor, compass, ambient light sensor, and accelerometer. For quick screen unlocking, there is also a fingerprint sensor located on the back. It also has a facial unlock function powered by AI.
