Huma in full form as she settles scores with opponents in 'Maharani 3' trailer

The trailer for season 3 of the streaming drama series ‘Maharani’ was released on Monday, promising an intense political drama set in Bihar. The trailer shows Huma Qureshi’s character Rani Bharti seeking revenge for her husband’s murder, as well as the impact of spurious liquor on the state’s politics.

Rani Bharti, played by Huma Qureshi, is shown serving time in jail for the alleged murder of her politician husband. After her children are attacked, she is released on bail and sets out to avenge her husband’s death and confront those who framed him. The trailer also highlights the power struggles among established players in Bihar’s political landscape, and the link between spurious liquor and political machinations.

The former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, criticized the filming of ‘Maharani’ inside the Jammu and Kashmir assembly, calling it a shame. However, filmmaker Hansal Mehta countered Abdullah’s statement, asserting that such attitudes hinder India’s reputation as a shooting-friendly location for international productions.
The upcoming season of ‘Maharani’ is set to be available for streaming on Sony LIV from March 7th.
