Hunter Biden Found Guilty of Gun Charges, President Biden Upholds Judicial Integrity Amid Election Campaign

A 12-member jury found Hunter Biden, 54, guilty of lying about his drug abuse while purchasing a handgun in 2018.

Hunter could face a jail term, and if this happens, it will be the first time a sitting President’s son will be prosecuted.

US President Joe Biden, who had brushed aside suggestions of a Presidential Pardon for his son, said that he respects the jury’s decision to find his son guilty of gun crimes after a week-long trial.

Biden made no efforts to influence the judicial process and allowed the Justice Department to secure a guilty verdict on Tuesday, which could result in jail time for the recovering drug addict and it could also affect his forthcoming election campaign in the Presidential polls.

The reaction of Joe Biden’s party and family members has been remarkably calm unlike former President Trump, who went ballistic when he was also found guilty of felony charges two weeks ago.

Hunter Biden also said that he respects the jury’s decision and is very thankful for the support he received from his family members and friends.

Hunter Biden Guilty On All Three Charges

Hunter was convicted on all three felony charges as President Biden is busy campaigning for upcoming US Elections.

President Biden was not present during the trial, but First Lady Jill Biden, Hunter Biden’s wife, sister, and uncle were all present at times to support him during proceedings.

However, President Biden flew to Wilmington, Delaware, after the verdict where he embraced his son on the tarmac and said,

“I am the president, but I am also a dad. Jill and I love our son, and we are so proud of the man he is today, and I accept the outcome of this case and… continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal.”

The 12-member jury heard from Hunter’s ex-wife Kathleen Buhle, and a former girlfriend, Zoe Kestan, who stated that Hunter had frequent drug binges which affected his relationships with his friends and family.

Among the exhibits that were produced before the court included text messages detailing his addiction and photographs, some showing a half-naked Hunter Biden.

Trump has called Hunter’s conviction uneventful since it was the real crimes committed by Joe Biden and his team.

However, the Democrats were quick to accuse the Republicans of hypocrisy and hailed the US Judicial System.
