IIT Kanpur, defence ministry, DARPG, sign MoU to develop AI techniques for analysing public grievances – education

The Ministry of Defence, IIT Kanpur and the Division of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday for growing Synthetic Intelligence and Machine Studying techniques to analyse public grievances.

“A tripartite memorandum of understanding was signed at the moment between Division of Defence (DoD) Ministry of Defence (MoD), Division of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG) and Indian Institute of Expertise, Kanpur (IITK) within the presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Minister of State (impartial cost) for Ministry of Growth of North Japanese Area,” learn an announcement of the Union Defence Ministry.

“The MoU envisages IIT Kanpur to develop Synthetic Intelligence (AI) and Machine Studying (ML) techniques to conduct an exploratory and predictive evaluation of public grievances acquired on the internet-based mostly Centralised Public Grievances Redress and Monitoring System pertaining to the MoD,” the ministry stated.

The venture is predicted to assist the MoD to establish the trigger and nature of grievances and produce about systemic modifications and coverage interventions wherever required, the defence ministry stated.
