In Nizamuddin Markaz, 50 people of the Waqf Board can be allowed to offer namaz. During the hearing of the petition seeking the opening of Nizamuddin Markaz in the Delhi High Court, the court was told by the Central Government that 50 people selected by the Waqf Board may be allowed to offer namaz at the Nizamuddin Markaz Mosque in the coming festivals. . He said that this permission will be given once the names of those persons will be given to the SHO.

Advocate Rajat Nair, appearing for the central government, said that the Delhi Waqf Board should decide the names of 50 people and hand over the application to the police station of the area. The Center has appealed to the court that it will allow some people to pray in the mosque during the ‘Shab-e-Baaraat’ holiday.

Let me tell you that since last year hundreds of people who participated in a program of Tabligi Jamaat have been found to be infected with the corona virus. On the night of 29 March, police and health officials started evacuating people from Markaz and were sent to hospitals and quarantine centers.

In the Tabligi Jamaat, along with foreign people, thousands of people from India participated, after which the police had also registered an FIR for not following the prescribed norms regarding the corona virus. Hundreds of people from different parts of the country participating in Markaz’s program were found to be Kovid-19 positive.

To sanitize Markaz and its surrounding area, it was closed from 31 March 2020 and a petition was filed demanding that it be opened.
