India Bloc Launches Campaign for Lok Sabha Polls in Mumbai Rally, Urges Defeat of BJP and Protection of Constitution

The INDIA bloc launched its Lok Sabha election campaign in Mumbai, calling for the defeat of the BJP to save democracy. Leaders, including Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray, spoke at the rally, criticizing the BJP’s unfulfilled promises and dictatorship-like rule. Tejashwi Yadav urged to defeat the BJP over rising unemployment and farmers’ distress, while Prakash Ambedkar criticized the Electoral Bond scheme. Rahul Gandhi emphasized the fight against the force used against the opposition and the need to ensure transparency in the election process.

During a mega rally at Shivaji Park in Mumbai, the INDIA bloc leaders highlighted the importance of working together to remove the BJP from power. Sharad Pawar emphasized the need for change and called for voting out those who made false promises to different sections of society. Uddhav Thackeray thanked Rahul Gandhi for choosing Mumbai to conclude his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra and urged for the preservation of democracy and the Constitution.

Tejashwi Yadav criticized the BJP government for not fulfilling its promises of job creation and depositing money in people’s accounts, while also taking a dig at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Prakash Ambedkar questioned the legitimacy of the Electoral Bond scheme and called for transparency in the election process. Rahul Gandhi stressed the importance of fighting against forces working against the opposition and ensuring transparency in the electoral process, particularly the use of EVMs.
