‘All Eyes On Rafah’: Indian Celebs like Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt Show Up Support For Palestine As Death Toll in Rafah Rises 

A phrase has currently gone viral on the internet as the Israeli air strikes resulted in injuring a dozen Palestinians and killing at least 45 Palestinians in a place near the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

Numerous Indian celebrities and notable personalities like Richa Chadha, Triptii Dimri, Dia Mirza, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sonakshi Sinha, Rashmika Mandanna, Varun Dhawan, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Ritika Sajdeh among others, have also shared the phhrase “All Eyes On Rafah” on their respective Instagram stories as an expression of their solidarity with Palestinians.

Indian Celebrities Condemn Rafah Strike with “All Eyes On Rafah” Instagram Stories

The phrase “All Eyes on Rafah” with a background picture of people accumulated has garnered momentum on the internet. 

Alia Bhatt re-shared a picture on her Instagram story of ‘the motherhood home’, writing about how all kids deserve life along with safety, peace and love.

Despite being a global Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF, Priyanka Chopra often faces criticism for not raising her voice for Palestine. However, this time she also shared the “All Eyes on Rafah” template on her IG story. 

The template was also added by Triptii, Samantha, Sonakshi, Rashmila, Kareena and Varun too. Meanwhile, Richa Chadha backlashed those who are still supporting Israel.

“Tragic Mistake”

The Israeli military announced that the airforce struck an area in Hamas with “precise ammunition and on the basis of precise intelligence.”

However, Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister, accepted that a huge mistake had been committed, tagging it as a “tragic mistake.”

According to News18, on Monday, the Prime Minister of Israel, Netanyahu, said, “Despite our utmost efforts not to harm innocent civilians, last night there was a tragic mishap. We are investigating the incident and will come to a conclusion because this is our policy.”

The attack made on Sunday night has raised the overall death toll from the Israel – Hamars war since October 7, 2023, to above 36,000. This was reported by the Gaza Health Ministry. The Gaza Health Ministry does not distinguish between noncombatants and fighters in the death tally.
