Indian Women Founders to Share Innovation Stories at ‘Startup Mahakumbh’

New Delhi, March 6 (IANS) The ‘Startup Mahakumbh’, a celebration of Indian startups, will feature top women founders sharing their innovation stories at Bharat Mandapam and Pragati Maidan from March 18-20. Women leaders like Nivruti Rai, Falguni Nayar, Nidhi Pant, and Ghazal Alagh will discuss fostering innovation and navigating entrepreneurship.

Debjani Ghosh, President of Nasscom, stated, “At Startup Mahakumbh, we’re enabling an ecosystem where women lead with resilience and creativity, driving forward the global narrative of Indian entrepreneurship.” Archana Jahagirdar, Member of the Organising Committee, highlighted the event’s focus on inspiring and nurturing entrepreneurship among women.

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal noted the event’s significance in showcasing India’s growth story, emphasizing the startup sector’s innovation in various fields like mobility, food, and textiles. The event will bring together startup ecosystem participants, including startups, incubators, venture capitalists, and accelerators, for insightful discussions across sectors such as AI + SaaS, D2C brands, and agritech.

The ‘Startup Mahakumbh’ will showcase over 1000 startups, host 10 thematic tracks, welcome 1000 investors, 500 incubators & accelerators, 5000 conference delegates, 10 country delegations, 5000 future entrepreneurs, and 40,000 business visitors. Joining the event will be women leaders driving innovation and shaping an inclusive future for the startup community.
