Indigenous development MoU signed for advanced fuelling & control system

New Delhi, March 4 (IANS) The Ministry of Defence signed a tripartite MoU for an advanced fuelling and control system for engines for heavy-duty applications. The MoU was signed with BEML Ltd, Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL), and Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd (MIDHANI) to develop the system, with Defence Secretary Giridhar Aramane in attendance.

The collaborative initiative aims to leverage indigenous capabilities to design, test, and manufacture an advanced fuelling and control system that offers enhanced efficiency, performance, and reliability for combat vehicles. By harnessing the latest advancements in engine technology, the companies seek to ensure self-reliance in the field of combat vehicles.

This MoU signifies the government’s commitment to developing complex technologies within the country under the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative. The focus is on utilizing indigenous expertise to develop engine systems that meet the demands of modern combat scenarios.
