International Gem & Jewellery Show in Jaipur attracts 250 buyers from 27 countries

Jaipur, April 13 (IANS) The Gem Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) is hosting the International Gem & Jewellery Show (IGJS) in Jaipur from April 12-14, with 250 buyers from 27 countries attending. Buyers from Algeria to Uzbekistan are participating in the event showcasing India’s prowess in the gem and jewellery industry.

Vipul Shah, Chairman of GJEPC, highlighted the significant role of India in the global gem and jewellery market, with annual exports amounting to $40 billion, supporting over five million jobs. The IGJS aims to strengthen international trade relationships by providing platforms for exporters to engage with the global market.

The IGJS is a curated event held annually in Dubai and Jaipur, showcasing India’s top gem and jewellery manufacturers and exporters to the world. The event is part of GJEPC’s vision to position India as the preferred source for premium gems and jewellery. The show reinforces India’s expertise and excellence in the industry, promoting it on a global scale.
