Introducing the adventurous Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: See it now!

Royal Enfield has recently launched the new Guerrilla 450 in India, a roadster model based on the popular Himalayan 450 adventure tourer. The new bike shares some components with the Himalayan but has distinct features tailored for city rides.
Priced at an introductory ex-showroom rate of ₹2.39 lakh, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 offers three variants – Analogue, Dash, and Flash. Bookings have opened, with test rides and retail availability starting from 1st August.
One notable difference between the Guerrilla 450 and the Himalayan is the bike’s ergonomics. The Guerrilla 450 features a more aggressive seating position with a lower handlebar and rear-set foot pegs, providing enhanced leverage for the rider.
The all-digital instrument cluster with Google Maps remains a standout feature carried over from the Himalayan. However, lower variants come equipped with an analogue instrument cluster from the Scram 411 model.
Powered by the Sherpa 450 engine, the Guerrilla 450 boasts a 452 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine producing 39.52 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. Royal Enfield has introduced a different engine map for the Guerrilla 450, along with two riding modes.
The bike also includes modern features such as a USB port, hazard lights, ride-by-wire technology, and LED lighting for enhanced visibility.
The Guerrilla 450’s design showcases a circular LED headlamp, while the tail lamp and exhaust unit are borrowed from the Himalayan model. The seat is now a single-piece unit, and the fuel tank is smaller to cater to city commuting needs.
Industry experts believe that the Guerrilla 450 could attract urban riders looking for a more agile and stylish option for their daily commute. This launch marks Royal Enfield’s continued efforts to diversify its product portfolio and cater to different customer segments.
Overall, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is set to make a significant impact on the industry by offering a unique roadster experience based on the success of the Himalayan model. Consumers can expect a versatile and performance-oriented bike tailored for urban mobility.
