IPL 2024: Lucknow Super Giants Choose to Bat First Against Delhi Capitals

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) won the toss and elected to bat first against Delhi Capitals (DC) in Match 26 of IPL 2024 at Ekana Cricket Stadium. Mayank Yadav has been replaced by Arshad Khan in LSG playing XI. Mukesh Kumar and Kuldeep Yadav return for Delhi Capitals.

LSG captain K.L. Rahul stated, “We will bat first. We want to start fresh, looks like a good wicket. I don’t think dew is going to play a part. Arshad Khan comes in for Mayank Yadav.” DC captain Rishabh Pant mentioned, “A few of our players got injured, so need to find the right playing XI. Mukesh and Kuldeep are back.”

LSG, currently third in the points table, have won three consecutive games after losing the opener. DC, at the bottom with just one win in five matches, will look to turn their fortunes around. LSG have maintained an unbeaten record against DC in their past three meetings.
