ISL 2023-24: Bengaluru FC keep Playoffs hopes alive with late-goal win over Hyderabad

Bengaluru FC secures a thrilling 2-1 victory against Hyderabad FC in the ISL 2023-24, with Sivasakthi Narayanan scoring the winning goal in the 87th minute. The match, which marked Sunil Chhetri’s 150th appearance in the league, took place at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium on Saturday. The victory helped Bengaluru maintain their chances of making the playoffs.

In the earlier match of the day, Odisha FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giant played out a goalless draw, adding to the top-of-table excitement in the league. Bengaluru FC’s win propelled them to the eighth spot, just two points behind the sixth-placed Jamshedpur FC, keeping their playoff hopes alive.

Hyderabad FC took the lead with a goal from Javi Hernandez, but Bengaluru FC equalized through Ramhlunchhunga. It was youngster Sivasakthi Narayanan who had the final say, scoring the winning goal in the dying minutes of the game.
