The Highlanders’ new striker Tomi Juric scored twice, but poor defending led to their downfall as the Mariners found frequent breakthroughs past them. Mohun Bagan Super Giant moved to 29 points from 14 matches, placing them second behind Odisha FC in the table.

Mohun Bagan Super Giant will face Odisha FC on February 24, while NorthEast United FC will square off against FC Goa on February 21.
