ITF Women’s Open Gurugram: Sandeepti, Akanksha, Humera, and Riya Bhatia get wild cards

Sandeepti Singh Rao, a talented 20-year-old tennis player, has secured a wild card for the main draw of the ITF Women’s Open W35 Gurugram. Along with three others, she will compete in the tournament that features players from 16 countries, including India.

The US $25,000 prize money event will see players like Ankita Raina, Sahaja Yamalapalli, and Zeel Desai from India participating in the main draw. The qualifying draw, with 48 players, will determine the final eight qualifiers who will move on to the main draw starting on Tuesday.

In a unique twist, a pro-am event was held where professionals teamed up with amateur players for a chance at the trophy. Gurugram’s Kenji Inoue and Srivalli Rashmikaa Bhamidipaty emerged as the winners, showcasing their skills in a closely contested contest. The tournament promises exciting matches and fierce competition for both players and fans.
