Jagan asks YSRCP cadres to go for clean sweep
Andhra Pradesh CM intensifies election campaign
Raptadu (Andhra Pradesh), Feb 18 (IANS) – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy intensified the campaign for forthcoming elections, calling on YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) cadres to work hard for a clean sweep in the polls. Addressing a public meeting of party cadre at Raptadu in Anantapur district, he urged the cadres to work towards the party’s goal of winning 175 assembly seats and 25 Lok Sabha seats.
The Chief Minister described the upcoming elections as a battle between locals led by YSRCP and non-resident Andhras led by TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and his ‘foster son.’ The meeting was attended by thousands of YSRCP activists from 52 Assembly constituencies of four districts of Rayalaseema.
Jagan Mohan Reddy emphasized the importance of the elections, pointing out that the TDP will disappear after the elections as YSRCP is poised to achieve its target. He asked the party cadres to become star campaigners and turn the people into star campaigners by creating awareness about the need to continue the welfare schemes by voting YSRCP to power.
The Chief Minister further noted that the battle is about defeating the feudalistic forces led by TDP and its allies, emphasizing that a vote for the opposition would result in the loss of welfare schemes. He also highlighted the tangible impact of YSRCP’s welfare schemes on every house and village in the state.
Furthermore, Jagan Mohan Reddy called upon the people to choose between his commitment to fulfilling election promises and TDP’s history of deception. He urged the people to be wary that a vote for the TDP and its allies would distance them from the fruits of social justice.
The Chief Minister emphasized the need for the party cadres to rally support and secure a victory in the forthcoming elections. He also urged the people to press for the YSRCP by casting their votes for the party’s candidates in both the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
In summary, the Chief Minister’s address at the public meeting in Raptadu showcased the YSRCP’s determination to secure a clean sweep in the upcoming elections and emphasized the party’s commitment to fulfilling election promises and continuing welfare schemes for the people of Andhra Pradesh.
