Japanese Industrial City to be set up in Noida along with 16 UK companies to provide 20,000 jobs near Jewar

With the latest development in Noida, the Indian partnership forum signed an MoU worth Rs 4,000 crore of investment in the UP Global Investors Summit. This Wednesday, Dr Mohan Kaul, the forum’s president met with Dr Arunveer Singh, Yamuna Authority’s CEO. As per the discussion, around 16 companies will enter the Noida market, and it will be done in two phases.

In the first phases, 16 companies will set up their latest unit near Noida International Airport. These companies work in the manufacturing sector related to electronic products in Yamuna City. Because of their setup, the forum wants 130 hectares of land that will be allotted to them in the next 6 months. With this development, around 20,000 people will get jobs under the company. 

Additionally, a Japanese Industrial City will be set up near Yamuna City’s Sector-7. Many Indian businessmen based in the United Kingdom also looking to invest in Greater Noida, Noida as well as near Jewar. The companies looking to enter the Noida market mostly work in the electronics sector. They manufacture medical devices, clean energy, artificial intelligence and hydrogen energy.  Land near Sector-7 will be allotted to them. In Noida, patented products will be manufactured. 

The most-awaited Noida International Airport will be constructed in 4 phases and will be fully completed by 2050. The first phases of the project are all set to be completed and open to the public by September 2024. Uttar Pradesh really wants to open at least one runway for public use before the deadline. This will help in bringing some revenue from the public. Plus Noida International Airport will also be turned into a transit hub for Asia- Pacific countries.
