Who is Jeremy Lamb?
Let’s get started with former NBA shooting guard Jeremy Emmanuel Lamb. This guy has a resume longer than a CVS receipt: drafted 12th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets, traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder for a James Harden deal, then onto Charlotte Hornets, and finally on the Indiana Pacers and the Sacramento Kings. For someone who’s only 6’5″ (still tall, but NBA standards are something else), Jeremy’s career highlights pack a punch-game-winning shots, clutch plays, and an uncanny ability to come back from injuries like some kind of basketball Wolverine.
But while Jeremy may be retired from the NBA as of last month, he’s still got game, just in a new arena: the dating world.

But not for her super-famous dad, Jeremy is paired perfectly with Anjali. A basketball fan like any other, Anjali had her post as general manager for the Stockton Kings, the G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings. Basketball connections, family fame, and a love for hoops makes Jeremy and Anjali essentially royalty in the game.

And if you are interested in getting to know Anjali, let’s break her down. First and foremost, she’s a powerhouse unto herself-former G League GM, animal lover, and social media darling. Recognizable for her work in animal activism, she even founded an animal sanctuary, “Jaws and Paws,” dedicated to rescuing wolf dogs. (Because why not date someone who literally runs a wolf sanctuary?) In fact, the new couple made their Instagram debut in a post where they were hanging out with these very animals, making their romance feel a little bit like a fairy tale—but with a slight Game of Thrones vibe.
It’s murky when these two lovebirds began their relationship. Was it while Jeremy was with the Kings or the Stockton Kings? Did they meet through her father’s outfit? Whatever the case, the timeline is a foggy one, but hey, if it took a wolf puppy or two, we’re not arguing.
Jeremy Lamb Family: Parents
No one would dispute the fact that Jeremy grew to become the pro baller. Jeremy’s father, Rolando Lamb, was a college hoops star who is remembered for his dramatic game-winning shot in the 1984 NCAA tournament for Virginia Commonwealth. After he stopped playing ball, Rolando became a minister and probably imparted some excellent lessons on and off the court to Jeremy. Jeremy’s mother, Angela, keeps things tidy, raising Jeremy and his three siblings. Let’s just say the Lamb household had its special mix of slam dunks and Sunday sermons, which had to make for an interesting upbringing.
Jeremy Lamb Career
Jeremy’s career is like a tour of the NBA’s top franchises: the Thunder, Hornets, Pacers, and Kings. That man had the ups and downs like an NBA rollercoaster. Early days with the Thunder, of course, spent much time on the bench-we can only guess it wasnt the prettiest NBA experience. Things began to heat up, though, when he transferred to Hornets. In the 2018-19 season, he averaged a career-high 15.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. He gained acclaim for clutch shots and game-winners, not least when he sank a buzzer-beater against the Raptors, leaving one to wonder whether or not he ran ice water through his veins.
In 2019, Lamb signed a $31.5 million contract with the Indiana Pacers. But, as with any good NBA tale, there were spills. In 2020, he suffered a knee injury that led to some time out of the game. Still, he returned, ultimately landing on the Sacramento Kings’ roster. Bad luck again had it in for him, however, in 2024-an injury was all it took to retire him. Well now, retirement is behind him and he’s got a new game plan-and it includes Anjali.

Now, down to basics. Jeremy Lamb is 6’5″ (1.96 meters), 180 pounds (82 kg). That’s a pretty sturdy build for a shooting guard and one Jeremy was rarely called upon to rely on. Because more often than not, Jeremy was talked about as a quick player with a nice shooting stroke. Of course, now that he’s retired, we just hope he can let loose a little bit more, without having to sweat drills at dawn.
