JinnKid, 32, admitted to the murder, which happened back in October 2021 in a luxury apartment in San Diego.
Before the murders occurred, JinnKid and Ana were separated, and their relationship was not in a good state.
Ana also texted Ali, stating that she wanted him out of her life and to leave her alone.
Ali secretly placed a listening device on their daughter’s iPad, and he overheard when Ana was talking to someone she was dating.
JinnKid then went to their apartment and shot Rayburn, and then killed Ana as well by shooting her in the head.
After committing the crime, Ali called his mother to confess it over the phone.
During the trial, Ali apologized and mentioned that he was in a bad mental state back in the day because of drug use.
The judge said,
“When I saw the Scarface videos, it’s as if when he committed these crimes he became that persona of Scarface. Just the cold-blooded killing without remorse… Any tears he has cried in this courtroom have been for himself… The bottom line here is you will die in prison.”
However, the judge called out his actions to be selfish and did not want to show any sympathy for him.
The court streamed the trial live, and the judge mentioned that Ali would never be free from jail and would die in prison because of the actions he took by taking away two lives.
