JJP to compete for all 10 LS seats in Haryana

Chandigarh, March 26 (IANS) – The Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) has decided to go solo in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Haryana after parting ways with the BJP. The party will contest on all 10 Lok Sabha seats in the state, as announced after a meeting of the JJP’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) in Delhi.

During the meeting chaired by JJP President Ajay Chautala, names were shortlisted for each Lok Sabha constituency. Some members also suggested exploring the possibility of contesting elections on the Lok Sabha seat of Chandigarh.

The Lok Sabha polls for all 10 seats in Haryana are scheduled to be held on May 25. The BJP has already announced its candidates for all seats, setting the stage for an interesting electoral battle in the state.
