J&K: Three aides of terrorists from Sopore arrested

In a recent operation, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, in collaboration with security forces, apprehended three terrorist aides in Sopore, North Kashmir. The joint party recovered a pistol and other incriminating materials from their possession during the arrest at Fruit Mandi crossing.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Faisal Ahmad Kachroo, Aquib Mehraj Kana, and Adil Akber Gojree, all residents of Sopore. The trio was caught attempting to flee from a checkpoint established by the Army, CRPF, and police.

According to the police, “During the search, a pistol, mobile phones, and other incriminating materials were recovered from their possession.” Additionally, the suspects were unable to justify the contents of their phones, which contained further incriminating evidence.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is currently underway to delve deeper into the activities and connections of the arrested individuals. The operation marks a success in the ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and maintain peace in the region.
