Jon Romano was a 16-year-old student who opened fire at Columbia High School on 9 February 2004. Romano was the individual who became a passionate advocate against the shootings occurring in school. Jon has a fearful personal linkage with such incidents.
The school was located in East Greenbush, New York. Jon Romano caused a teacher wound in the leg. Jon also spread fear due to which thousands of parents and their children were terrified. Due to this, Romano was taken into police custody, convicted, and then sentenced to prison for 20 years. However, he was released in December 2020 serving over 15 years of imprisonment.
When Jon Romano was 16 years old he concealed a shotgun from the public’s eyes inside a black case. To contemplate a terrific act, he waited inside a bathroom stall. Eventually, he showed up in the hallway and fired at two children.

Jon has put in abundant efforts but still, his life is not free of violence. In 2022 September, a man attacked Jon with a sword leaving the latter in critical condition. However, Jon has no resentment towards the attacker.
