K.L. Rahul back in India, set for IPL comeback following a medical checkup

Star Indian cricketer K.L. Rahul has returned from London after a medical check-up for discomfort in his right quadriceps. He will undergo rehab at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore to be fit for IPL 2024, as per a close source.

Rahul, who suffered an injury during the first Test against England in Hyderabad, is keen to be fully fit for the upcoming IPL season. The Lucknow Super Giants skipper is expected to receive clearance from the National Cricket Academy soon.

The injury was not major, but Rahul did not want to take any risks and missed the England series. After the check-up in London, he is now feeling fine and is on track to be cleared by the NCA. He is likely to play in Lucknow Super Giants’ opening match against Rajasthan Royals on March 24.
