Kamala Harris McDonald’s Connection – The Next President Of The United States Could Be A Former McDonald’s Worker

It has been revealed in a study that 13% of Americans, or roughly 41 million people, have at some point in their lives worked at a McDonald’s restaurant.

If Kamala Harris wins the US Presidential polls in November 2024, she will become the first President of the US to have worked at the fast food outlet.

Kamala Harris mentioned her brief stint on the fryer when she joined fast food workers in Las Vegas in 2019 and during an appearance on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ in April. She ordered a Quarter Pounder with cheese and fries, and barbecue sauce for dipping if she gets McNuggets.

Former US President Bill Clinton Talks About Kamala Harris’ McDonald’s Job

Former US President Bill Clinton highlighted the fact about President Kamala Harris’ early job at McDonald’s during his speech at the Democratic National Convention, albeit humorously.

Clinton added that it revealed Kamala’s dedication to public service, from her student years to her current role.

He also jokingly added that he was also fond of McDonald’s at a Little Rock location.

Clinton said,

“When she was a student, she worked at McDonald’s. She greeted every person with that thousand-watt smile and said, ‘How can I help you?’ And now, she’s at the pinnacle of power, she’s still asking ‘How can I help you?’”

Clinton also stated that he would be very happy when Kamala entered the White House, and she would also break his record as the President who had spent the most time at McDonald’s.

Clinton’s love for McDonald’s is common knowledge and was even portrayed by Phil Hartman on ‘Saturday Night Live’.

In Hartman’s rendition of Clinton, the former President was shown visiting McDonald’s and interacting with customers in comedic skits.

The former President’s love for the fast food brand has even been personified at a McDonald’s in Little Rock, Arkansas, and a plaque has been placed commemorating his frequent visits during his tenure as governor.

However, it has been reported that Clinton has shifted to a mostly vegan diet, giving up his beloved McDonald’s for health reasons.

Clinton had to undergo quadruple bypass surgery in the past.

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has highlighted her middle-class background and made it a point in her public appearances to talk about her lesser-known fact as a former McDonald’s worker.

An ad which was released on Friday highlighted her stint at the Golden Arches.

As the camera panned a series of vintage family photos, the narrator in the background extolled the fact that Kamala grew up in a middle-class home and was the daughter of a working mom.
