‘Kannappa’ makers reveal Vishnu Manchu’s avatar as bow-wielding warrior

Mumbai, March 8 (IANS) – On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, the first-look poster of the film ‘Kannappa’ starring Vishnu Manchu was unveiled. The poster features Vishnu as the greatest devotee of Lord Shiva, Bhakta Kannappa, exuding charisma and intensity as he stands prepared with a bow and arrow.

The poster showcases Vishnu emerging from a waterfall, embodying the devotion and determination that defines the character of Kannappa. The actor took to social media to express his privilege in portraying the role, stating, “Honoured and privileged to portray the greatest devotee of Lord Shiva, ‘Kannappa’. Today on MahaShivaRathri, here is your ‘Kannappa’.”

The film also stars renowned actors like Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Sarath Kumar, and Brahmanandam. Currently, the team is shooting the second schedule of ‘Kannappa’ in New Zealand with a massive crew of over 600 international members. Vishnu shared his excitement about the project, stating, “‘Kannappa’ delves into the profound exploration of a warrior’s soul. I’m thrilled to reveal the magic that has unfolded as we bring this film to life.”

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, ‘Kannappa’ promises to be a cinematic journey filled with dedication and passion. The decision to unveil the first-look poster on Mahashivratri was seen as a nod to the blessings of Lord Shiva guiding the team in their endeavors.
