Private Video of Pakistani Influencer Kanwal Aftab Leaked
A private video depicting Ms. Aftab in a “compromising situation” has ignited a huge controversy. Earlier, private videos of prominent personalities such as Minahil Malik, Imsha Rehman, and Mathira Khan were leaked.
Authorities are investigating the leaked videos of these personalities, and there are rumors that some of these videos have been doctored using AI. Ms. Aftab has still not responded to the private video leaks.
Ms. Aftab is best known for her lifestyle, beauty, and family-related content and has a sizable global following, numbering over 4 million on Instagram.
She is based in Lahore and creates content from her life along with her husband, Zulqarnain Sikandar, who is also a TikTok star, and their daughter.
She has been married to Zulqarnain Sikandar since 2021, and last year she became a mother when she gave birth to Aizal Zulqarnain.
Ms. Aftab has also partnered with different brands and is a well-known personality in Pakistan’s social media scene. She also runs a thriving TikTok channel.
A week ago, an explicit video alleged to be of Pakistani TV host and influencer Mathira Mohammad was leaked on social media, showing the influencer in compromising situations.
Mathira has labeled these videos and pictures as fake and alleged that people are using her name and labeling the AI-generated pictures as hers.
In a similar turn of events, an explicit video alleged to be of Pakistani TV host and TikTok star Imsha Rehman went viral. The videos showed the influencer in a compromising position.
Most netizens derided the persons leaking such videos, but a few, however, accused her of deliberately leaking these pictures to gain cheap publicity. This led to Imsha deactivating her social media accounts.
Minahil Malik is another social media influencer who found herself in a similar situation when private videos of her were leaked online. She also deactivated her accounts.
Minahil Malik complained with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), claiming that the videos were fake and AI-generated.
