Kapil Sharma is ready for a new adventure as his OTT show brings airport terminal to life

Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma is set to make his debut on the streaming platform with his upcoming show ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. The production design for this show is leaning towards a more global and urban vibe compared to his previous television projects. The set, inspired by an airport theme, is tailored for a younger audience.

The set for ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ includes various elements like a duty-free shop, an airport desk, and chandeliers resembling those at the Mumbai International Airport. The set also features faux airport gates, elevators, and airport signages. With the show premiering on Netflix, the use of red hues in the lighting and set design is prominent.

In addition to his new show, Kapil Sharma will also be seen in a special role in the upcoming film ‘Crew’, alongside Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon. The show will also feature a reunion of Kapil and Sunil Grover, along with other popular comedians like Krishna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda, and Archana Puran Singh. ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ is set to release on Netflix soon, adding to Kapil Sharma’s already extensive portfolio across different mediums.
