Karanvir Sharma shares that “Rabb Se Hai Dua” has taken a generational leap, but he is not leaving the show

Actor Karanvir Sharma has put an end to rumors of quitting ‘Rabb Se Hai Dua’ by clarifying that the show has taken a generation leap. In response to speculations, he stated, “ ‘Rabb Se Hai Dua’ has gone for a generation leap, so it’s not that I have quit the show.”

Addressing the misconception surrounding actors leaving successful shows, Karanvir emphasized that it was a collective decision made by the channel, producers, and creative team. He mentioned, “I don’t abandon my producers or my work, nor do I shirk from the responsibilities I take.”

When asked about his thoughts on story leaps affecting actor departures, Karanvir shared, “I don’t think a story leap, unless necessary, should be taken forward because the audience connects with those characters for so long. To have somebody else replace them, will either bring in a new audience or let go of that audience as well.”

Reflecting on the unpredictability of the entertainment industry, Karanvir expressed, “But if it works, and the story is even more captivating than its previous season, then even the previous audience might stick around. In this industry, anything can happen.” He also highlighted his involvement in a web series with a strategic release plan, contrasting it with the TRP-driven nature of television.
