Karen Huger, famously known for her role on “Real Housewives of Potomac,” was involved in a tragic accident.

On Tuesday, she was reportedly driving her 2017 Maserati in Maryland when she crashed due to speeding and ignoring stop signs.

She crossed a median and hit several curbs, as revealed by a representative from the Montgomery County Police Department.

The positive aspect was that Karen was the only person in the car; she remained uninjured but encountered legal issues.

She was issued tickets for the crash, though the specific reasons behind the tickets have not been disclosed.

Karen Huger Meets With An Accident

While speaking with TMZ, Karen shared her experience of the crash. She explained that she was upset after a dinner with friends, where emotionally triggering topics were discussed. While driving, slightly teary-eyed, she saw a car approaching from the opposite direction. In an attempt to swerve and avoid the car, she crashed into a tree but only suffered minor trauma.

She stated,

“I did receive citations, one of which was unrelated to the incident which is understandable, but what was most surprising is that the car that almost hit me just drove away!”

Karen also mentioned that she is grateful to be alive and brought in the reference to her mother.

Her mother passed away in 2017, and she said that it is important to be emotionally available when one is driving.

She added that her mother is her guardian angel but considers the seatbelt saved her life from a huge accident.
