According to news reports, she was involved in a car accident that occurred on 23rd September 2023. As per police investigation, there was a car crash near 3/4 Sideroad and Concession Road 9 Sunnidale around 8 in the morning. Her husband Brody was also in the car and sustained injury. They were taken to a nearby hospital where Katie was pronounced dead while her husband survived.

As mentioned above, she lost her life in a tragic car accident. Her family is currently grieving and wants the public to respect her privacy. Her husband is also injured and sad at the moment and wants some time to fully recover.  

Who was Katie Marshall?

Katie has worked at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre since 2012, she initially worked in environmental services but by 2017 she moved into their security unit. She was a country girl with a passion for horse riding. Anything that is country, Katie would always try to experience it. She also loved to take part in horse riding events.

Security Director Andrew Bell states- “She had a strong connection with her family and would always tell stories about times at the farm, fishing with her dad, riding with her mom, spending quality playtime with her nephew and of course, living life with her real-life cowboy husband Brody.
