KCET 2022: Registrations Commences From April 12, How To Apply, Other Details Here

Aspirants wanting to get admission to institutions offering degree courses in technology, pharma, engineering, and other undergraduate certificate and diploma courses can take the entrance exam for these courses.

The examination process under the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will kick start the Common Entrance Exam am 2022 alternatively known as KCET 2022, from 12 April. The Examination Authority has already released a bulletin that details the registration process on 6 April 2022. Students who aspire to get into any of the above courses can appear for the entrance exam.

Aspirants for these courses can apply online via the official website of the Karnataka Examination Authority, kea.kar.nic.in.

Earlier the registration process was to start on April 5. However, a press release on April 6 informed that the registration process will now commence on 12 April. Before the registration process, a detailed latest information news bulletin will be issued by the Karnataka Examination Authority pertaining to the procedures and FAQs.

The Karnataka Examination Authority asks all applicants to go through the bulletin carefully and keep all the information required for registration ready at hand. Read the notification here.

The Examination Schedule Is As Follows-

  • Biology and Mathematics papers-16 June 2022
  • Physics and Chemistry papers-17 June, 2022
  • Kannada language paper-18 June

Each paper carries 60 marks except Kannada paper which will carry 50 marks.

The question papers will be according to the syllabus set by the Department of Pre-university Education of Karnataka.

Please click UGCET 2022, under the ‘Admissions’ section available on the homepage. Then click on the registration link available on the next page. The registration link may also be flashed on the ‘Latest Announcements’ section.

Register for your login credentials. Log in with the credentials to fill the application form.

Upload scanned copies of the required documents and pay the examination fee.

Submit the form and obtain a printout.

  • Class 10 and Class 12  mark sheets
  • Proof of  Date of birth
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Proof of Residential Address
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Scanned images of own signature and parents’ signature.
