WATCH: UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer Being Kicked Out Of A Pub Goes Viral With Misleading Claim
A video which has since become viral has been circulating on social media which claimed that it was UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer being kicked out of a pub for allegedly favouring radical Muslims over British citizens.
However, the video shared on August 13 is actually of an incident on April 19, 2021.
Read on to learn more about the actual video and how it has been manipulated to create a false narrative.
The video is from an incident way back in 2021 during the COVID-19 epidemic when Starmer, who was then the opposition leader, was asked to leave “The Raven pub” in Bath by the landlord. Incidentally, the landlord was angered by his stance on the Conservative government’s COVID-19 lockdown policies.
However for the unversed, Keir Starmer was not the PM at that time and he only assumed office on July 5, 2024, more than three years after the incident

The posts on X and Facebook show the shared footage of the 2021 incident in which Keir Starmer is asked to vacate the pub and a man can be seen who shouts “Get out of my pub” – is restrained by security.
The captions on the posts read –
“The Prime Minister of the UK was kicked out of a pub. This is what happens when you treat radical Muslims better than your citizens and let them take control of your country. The citizens are sick of it.”
Reuters has confirmed that the incident occurred in April 2021 and not a recent one.
