Kerala-Born Rinson Jose’s Name Crops Up In Pager Blasts Case; Know The Latest In This Developing Story
New revelations are being made every day on the pager blasts aimed at Hezbollah operatives in Lebanon.
While there has been no confirmation officially from the Israeli government, the blasts have all the trademarks of Mossad’s operation.
In the latest development, Kerala-born man’s name comes up in pager blasts case and his name is Rinson Jose.
Who is Rinson Jose?
Rinson Jose is an Indian emigrant originally hailing from Wayanad in Kerala but he is a citizen of Norway now.
It is reported that the company owned by the 37-year-old in Bulgaria had supplied the pagers to the Iran supported militant group in Lebanon.
Unconfirmed reports say that the pagers were modified by Mossad operatives to hide 3 gms of explosives and were made by a Taiwanese company called Gold Apollo.
However later Gold Apollo confirmed that the pagers used in the blast, AR-924, were manufactured and distributed by BAC Consulting KFT, a company based in Hungary’s Budapest and it had the rights to use its trademark.
Rinson Jose did his MBA from Pondicherry University and Masters in International social welfare and health policy from Oslo Metropolitan University.
He had moved to Norway more than a decade ago. Unconfirmed reports linked his company the Bulgaria-based company Norta Global Limited to be involved in the supply chain for the pagers supplied to Hezbollah which later detonated.
The Bulgarian state security agency DANS in a statement said that it is conducting an investigation along with the interior ministry and was probing the role of a company named Norta Global Ltd, which was registered in Sofia in 2022 and its owner was a Norwegian named Rinson Jose.
Later DANS stated that pagers used in the blasts in Lebanon were not imported, exported or manufactured in Bulgaria.

“Following verifications, it has been indisputably established that no communication equipment corresponding to those that exploded on September 17 was imported, exported or manufactured in Bulgaria,”
According to the media agency IANS Jose, after his higher studies in Norway, had worked briefly in London before returning to Oslo.
His LinkedIn page stated that he worked for five years in digital customer support for Norwegian press group DN Media.
DN Media told a news outlet Verdens Gang that he is overseas since Tuesday apparently on a work trip. Members of his family stated that he is settled in Oslo with his wife while his twin brother is based in London.
