Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar’s Private Video Leaked and Viral

In an FIR that he has filed with the police, Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar alleged that a gang kidnapped him and demanded extortion money from him. Later, Qamar shared his ordeal with the public.

Things did not end there. The alleged kidnapper has accused Qamar of lying, claiming they possess indecent videos of him with a woman named Aamna Arooj.

Yesterday, an inappropriate video featuring Khalil ur Rehman Qamar and a woman alleged to be Aamna Arooj was leaked online. The video soon went viral and it evoked all-around condemnation of Qamar for his actions.

Today, Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar gave his version of the story in an interview with journalist Muneezay Moeen. Qamar recounted his ordeal of how he was held at gunpoint by two individuals who proceeded to make a video with the woman. Qamar also alleged that the woman was an active member of the gang and willingly participated in the plot.

Qamar alleged that he was forced by the gang to remove his shirt and participate in the indecent act with the woman. He added that due to depression he was unable to fully comply, and this led the kidnappers to leave him without further coercion.

Qamar also stated that he was in a state of trauma and therefore was unable to file the FIR for five days. He also said that he had revealed the video to the police but did not file it in the FIR so that the name of the country is not tarnished. Qamar emphasized that he has taken a stand for all men who have faced similar situations.

The video clip which is linked to the alleged “honey trap” scandal involving playwright Khalil ur Rehman Qamar shows prime suspects, Urooj and Hasan Shah, sitting on a couch. Qamar later sat next to the woman who lured him to her home late on the night of July 15 under the pretense of discussing a new soap opera project.

However, here the story differed from Qamar’s account. After Qamar settled into Urooj’s cozy living room, armed men burst into the room, assaulted him, and took him for a long drive where they looted his valuables and cash. Later, the abductors released him at an isolated spot and fled.

A video clip has surfaced on social media, showing the perpetrators setting up the trap and testing a camera for the best view of the rendezvous. The video features them casually sitting on the same couch where

After Qamar’s complaint, the Organised Crime Unit (OCU) of Model Town arrested 12 persons and they have been charged with dacoity and kidnapping. Urooj and 11 others are currently in police custody. The alleged mastermind, Hassan, and his accomplice Rafiq, were arrested in Peshawar.

The viral video linked to the Qamar honey trap scandal has evoked disgust and repulsion on social media. This is not the first time that Qamar has been involved in controversies. Earlier, he also gained notoriety for his misogynistic language against critics, mostly women, of his soap “Mere Pass Tum Ho” some years ago.

One user tweeted,

“Often, the men who criticize women’s character the most are themselves of ‘bad character’. The behavior of those defending Khalil ur Rehman Qaamar shows that people often try to turn the wrong actions of those who share their ideology into something right.”

Another user said,

“Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is going down the Amir Liaquat path. Allah’s justice is evident. The person who used to character assassinate women every other day has now been exposed in front of the public. It serves him right.
