Khan sir’s real name is ‘Faizal Khan‘ and was born on December 1993 in Bhatpur Rani, Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. He did his schooling at Parmar Mission School located in Bhatpar Rani, Deoria. From an early age, he was inclined toward patriotism and the army and this is the reason he was preparing for his entrance examination to the army. He was also a part of NCC from the secondary level and got an opportunity to know more about the Indian army and its culture closely.

Later Faizal Khan aka Khan Sir decided to give the entrance exam for National Defense Academy (NDA) after Intermediate.  But due to his crooked hands, he was medically unfit and was rejected. 

In 2019, he saw a huge need for students to prepare for government exams he started his own YouTube channel and named Khan GS Research Centre. 

Moving fast forward to now the channel has 1.76 crore subscribers where he uploads on general science and awareness. He also launched his own app during the lockdown on the Google Play store. His popularity is so huge that sometimes the app even crashes due to too much traffic.

He was born into a middle-class family and follows Islam. His father is a contractor while his mother is a housewife. He is engaged and is set to marry his love in near future.
