The Khanapara Teer event is a unique game of archery which is also linked to a lottery event. The Khanapara Teer event is named after a hamlet which is situated in the Assam Meghalaya border. A group of 50 accomplished archers shoot a finite number of arrows at a target in a specified time and the lottery holders have to guess and bet on the number of arrows which has hit the target. The ersults are usually out by 05.00 p.m. for both the rounds of the games. The results are published live on the official website of the Khanapara Teer Lotteries.
