Kiran Kumar to play judge in 'Kaagaz 2', says 'courtroom scenes were engaging'

Veteran actor Kiran Kumar, best known for his role in ‘Khuda Gawah’, is all set for the release of his upcoming film, ‘Kaagaz 2’. In an interview, he shared insights into his ‘significant’ role in the film and opened up on working with Anupam Kher and late star Satish Kaushik.

In ‘Kaagaz 2’, Kiran plays the judge in the last two or three reels where the story shifts to the courtroom. Despite the short duration, he emphasized the importance of his character to the climax of the film. The movie also marks the last film of Satish Kaushik and features Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Neena Gupta, Smriti Kalra, and others.

Kiran expressed his pleasure at working with Satish Kaushik, the director V.K. Prakash, and Anupam Kher, who played the lawyer in the film. He particularly enjoyed the courtroom scenes and highlighted the significance of the film in shedding light on pertinent issues faced by the Indian public, such as road blockages due to rallies.

Directed by VK Prakash and produced by Shashi Satish Kaushik, Ratan Jain, and Ganesh Jain, ‘Kaagaz 2’ is a joint production of Satish Kaushik Entertainment LLP & Venus Worldwide Entertainment Pvt Ltd. The film is set to release on March 1.
