KL Rahul offers words of wisdom to Badoni: Be the best player and finish games strongly

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) batter Ayush Badoni shined bright with his brilliant 55 off 35 deliveries against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Friday. Badoni credited skipper KL Rahul and head coach Justin Langer for their support and guidance, which helped him turn the tide for his team.

Despite initial struggles, Badoni’s partnership with Arshad Khan helped Lucknow post a total of 167 for 6 against Delhi. Badoni revealed he had trained under Justin Langer in Australia last year, where he honed his skills and enhanced his batting.

Before the IPL season, Badoni had a successful Ranji Trophy season, displaying his potential as a top-order batsman. Despite a slow start in the IPL, Badoni bounced back with a match-winning performance, thanks to the constant support and encouragement from KL Rahul and Justin Langer.

However, Badoni’s outstanding effort went in vain as Delhi Capitals managed to secure a victory, led by Jake Fraser-McGurk’s impressive knock and Kuldeep Yadav’s three-wicket haul. Despite the loss, Badoni’s performance highlighted his talent and determination on the field, setting a positive tone for future matches for Lucknow Super Giants.
