In a shocking turn of events, famous Kurdish artist Beytocan has sadly passed away. He got global acclaim because of his amazing musical talent. He took his last breath on Tuesday, 12th September 2023.

According to news reports, he was getting treatment for cancer in a hospital in Sweden. During his last days, he had undergone surgery to treat his cancer. Unfortunately, he suffered some complications and lost his life. 

How Did Beytocan Die?

As stated above, he lost his battle with cancer on 12th September 2023. His family is currently grieving and wants the public to respect their privacy. His funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.

Who was Beytocan?

The famous artist Beytullah Guneri was born in 1955 in a religious family in the Kurdish province of Amed (Diyarbakir), southeast Turkey. In 1980, he was sentenced to 15 years of prison based on political grounds but later served on 6 and a half years. Once released, he shifted his base to Sweden to live away from the negativity in 1991. 

Shockingly, he had jaw bone cancer due to which he was being treated in Sweden. He died on Tuesday while being treated for cancer. Users across the globe are partying tribute to him on various social media handles.
