According to news reports, he was getting treatment for cancer in a hospital in Sweden. During his last days, he had undergone surgery to treat his cancer. Unfortunately, he suffered some complications and lost his life.

The famous artist Beytullah Guneri was born in 1955 in a religious family in the Kurdish province of Amed (Diyarbakir), southeast Turkey. Once released, he shifted his base to Sweden to live away from the negativity in 1991.
