LaMelo Ball, who is a well-known player for the Charlotte Hornets, has been in the news and going viral because of something people think he has done, and it’s funny for him.
An image of Ball went viral where it showed that the player got a tattoo of the viral “Hawk Tuah Girl” on his face, which said, “Hawk Tuah Girl.”

Now, when people saw the image, they lost their minds because of how funny the whole thing is and how hilarious it would be if Ball did that.
When fact-checking started happening, it was known that actually, the whole thing was fake and Ball did not get a tattoo of the “Hawk Tuah Girl” on his forehead.
The image was shared by a social media account called NBACentral, which is a page that jokes about NBA players and makes memes out of them.
The picture has been debunked as false, and it is clear that Ball did not get a tattoo of “Hawk Tuah Girl” on his face.
Ball hasn’t been playing since January 27, 2024, because of an ankle injury he is having.
Even though he is benched now, he is a very important player for the Hornets, who have struggled to make the playoffs for the last eight seasons.
In July 2024, LaMelo Ball signed a 5-year contract with the Hornets, but because of the ankle injury, he is not playing and is now benched from getting his game mode going.
Before his injury, LaMelo Ball was going through one of his best seasons and he scored an average of 23.9 points per game as well.
LaMelo’s basketball journey began in high school, where he played with his brothers. After a disagreement with his high school coaches, he moved to Lithuania to play professionally.
He later played in Australia before joining the NBA.
