Las Vegas Attorney Couple Dennis Prince and Ashley Prince Shot Dead in Summerlin Shooting

A deadly shooting occurred at Las Vegas’s Summerlin in which three people were brutally shot dead. Among the three casualties reported, two were attorneys, reported TimesNow.

Multiple media reports cited that Dennis Prince, a Las Vegas attorney, was shot dead on Monday morning, along with Ashley Prince, his wife. As per TimesNow, the suspect behind the killing is also a Las Vegas attorney, identified as Joe Houston.

The victims who got killed were new parents. The shooting occurred on April 8, Monday morning during a deposition in the fifth-floor office of Prince Law Group. The location of the law office is near Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, 10801 W. Charleston Blvd.

What Happened in Las Vegas?

In a court hearing, Joe Houston II was representing his son, Dylan Houston, who was Ashley Prince’s ex-husband. Dennis Prince was representing Ashley Prince, his wife. Records show that in 2021, Dylan Houston filed for divorce from Ashley. 

8newsnow.com reported that Joe Houston allegedly shot both Ashley and Dennis Prince shortly after 10 a.m. and then killed himself. The case was going on regarding the custody of the children of both parties involved.  LVMPD Lt. Jason Johansson stated that Joe Houston II only targeted his two victims. 

The victim’s friends notified 8 News Now that Dennis Prince and Ashley Prince recently had a baby together. Dennis Prince also appeared on certain media channels, where he can be spotted discussing civil cases.

On Monday evening, a spokesperson said,

“With profound sadness, Prince Law Group would like to thank everyone who has reached out to us with heartfelt messages of concern and sympathy over the tragic violence that occurred this morning in our offices. We ask that you please respect the privacy of the families involved.”
