Lava Agni 2 Launched! Assures Update Upto Android 15, Check Price, Features and Specifications
Lava Agni 2 5G has been rolled out in India today, 16 May. This model is the successor of the Lava Agni 5G model. In November 2021, Lava Agni 5G was launched. However, at the time of launch, the smartphone faced a lot of criticism and mocks from the company. It offers a refresh rate of 120Hz and comes with a curved AMOLED display. The newly launched smartphone also possesses MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G SoC, and octa-core.
Availability and Price In India
The newly rolled-out phone is available in a single color option only. In India, the phone is available in only one storage variant. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant cost Rs. 21,999. However, this phone will be available for procurement on the Amazon India shopping platform only. From 10 AM IST, from May 24, interested customers can buy the phone using any Credit card or debit card. Various offers are showing instant discounts up to ₹2000.
Lava Agni 2 Features and Specifications
The Lava Agni 2 5G supports dual nano SIM and features a curved AMOLED display of 2220×1080 pixels and a 6.78-inch full-HD+ display. The display offered by the phone supports HDR 10+, HDR 10, and HDR as well. This smartphone comes with double-reinforced glass protection, along with a matte finish and a 3D glass back design.
Out of the box, the phone runs on Android 13. Powered by 7050 SoC, octa-core MediaTek Dimensity makes this phone the first smartphone to use this processor. This phone assures that it also supports upgradation up to Android 15 as well. For three years, quarterly security updates can also be expected.
On the optics front, the phone offers a quad camera unit. At the back, the camera includes a 1.0-micron camera sensor of 50-megapixel, along with a 2-megapixel macro sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor accompanied an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. This phone is backed by a battery capacity of 4,700mAh with a 66W wired fast-charging adapter. Lava Agni 2 5G also offers an in-display fingerprint sensor for additional security.
