Legendary Boxer George Foreman Being Sued By Two Women Over Alleged Sexual Assault

George Foreman, an erstwhile Hall of Famer and heavyweight boxing world champion, has indeed been arrested on charges of pampering and mistreating two women mostly in the 1970s. He retains that these accusations are “baseless.” Two females have tried to take legal action in a Los Angeles court accusing George Foreman, who is the retired heavyweight champion boxer of assaulting them sexually in the 1970s.

Since the claims first became known last month, Foreman, who is 73 now, repeatedly denied them, and officials have pointed out inquiries more about cases to his prior comments. On Wednesday, August 24, the women filed a notice of civil suits in Los Angeles County’s Superior Court using the aliases Denise F and Gwen H.

The Current Scenario Of Women

These women, who are currently in their mid-60s, claim that they initially met Foreman when they were young because their parents were friends with Foreman in the sport of boxing.

Denise, a native of Los Angeles, claims that Foreman groomed her when she became 8 years old and then engaged in sexual activity with her when she was 15, once in a hotel suite in San Francisco, according to her lawsuit.

Gwen, a native of Nevada, claimed that she first encountered Foreman at the age of only 9 years old and charged him of sexually assaulting and raping her between the ages of 15 and 16, as well as at a Beverly Hills residence. If she didn’t comply, Foreman allegedly threatened to have her father’s position as a boxing consultant terminated.

Foreman referred to the accusations as unfounded and false. In his testimony, he claimed that two women had been attempting to extract several million dollars from him and his family for the last six months. I don’t start arguments, but I also don’t avoid them.

A California law that became effective in 2020 transiently agreed to waive the limitation period that had previously precluded survivors of sexual abuse as children from bringing civil cases led to the drafting of the lawsuits. Both ladies are asking for a jury trial as well as an undetermined sum of money in compensation.
