Lenovo Tab P12 Tablet Launched: Check Price, Specifications, Availablity, and Features

The Lenovo Tab P12 tablet was rolled out on Wednesday by Lenovo. It is equipped with octa-core SoC and a MediaTek Dimensity 7050. It is powered with quad JBL speakers along with a refresh rate of up to 60Hz and pixel resolution of up to 2,944×1,840.

The newly launched Lenovo Tab P12 tablet sports a 12.7-inch LTPS LCD. Currently, it is launched in three different storage and RAM variants 8GB+256, 8GB+128, and 4GB+128. The tablet is powered by a 10,200mAh battery. The Tab P12 provides 10 hours of video streaming support.

Availability and Price

Starting from August 2023 the Lenovo Tab P12 tablet will be available for procurement for sale in selected markets. The Lenovo Tab P12 comes in Oat colour shades, and Storm Grey. The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the recently released Lenovo tablet is available from roughly Rs. 36,168 or EUR 399. The other two storage configurations are 8GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB+256GB.

Lenovo Tab P12 Specifications

Various Connectivity options available on the Lenovo Tab P12 include WiFi 6 support, USB Type-C 2.0, and Bluetooth 5.1. It also includes a hall sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, RGB sensor, gravity sensor, and accelerometer. The Tablet is equipped with a fingerprint sensor that is mounted on the power key. The company has promised to offer four years of security patches along with two OS upgrades.

On the optics front, Tab P12 features a rear camera of 8-megapixel with LED Flash. Moreover, it also flaunts a front-facing 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The tablet comes with quad JBL speakers and offers video playback of time up to 10 hours. It possesses a 10,200mAh battery. The newly launched tablet is equipped with 7050 SoC of octa-core MediaTek Dimensity. It runs on Android 13 out-of-the-box.

Haier launches new TV series in four sizes in India

New Delhi, April 16 (IANS) Home appliances and consumer electronics brand Haier introduced its latest Smart QLED Series ‘S800QT’ in India, available in 75-inch, 65-inch, 55-inch, and 43-inch sizes. Priced starting at Rs 38,990, the series aims to provide an immersive home entertainment experience to consumers.

Haier India President NS Satish stated, “Catering to consumers who seek uncompromised visual brilliance and an immersive cinematic haven in their own homes, Haier India aims to meet the evolving needs and preferences of consumers, offering them an unparalleled home entertainment solution.”

The new range features DLG technology for ultra-smooth motion reproduction and reduced motion blur during fast-paced action sequences, ensuring an immersive viewing experience. Additionally, the TV series automatically adjusts its refresh rate up to 120Hz based on the content being viewed.

Biofuels firm GPS Renewables raises $50 mn from private, public sector banks

In a recent development, GPS Renewables, a full-stack biofuels company, has secured $50 million in debt financing from various private and public sector banks and NBFCs. Participating institutions include Punjab National Bank, HDFC, Yes Bank, and others.

Chief Finance Controller, Tilak Minocha stated, “To further accelerate our efforts, we not only need financial backing but also strategic industry collaborations. The funding will allow us to promote India’s transition to sustainable green energy.”

This financing round comes after GPS Renewables previously raised $20 million in equity funding. The company has seen significant growth, crossing a turnover of $60 million in FY 2023-24 and expanding full-time employee strength from 72 to over 500.

Furthermore, GPS Renewables recently acquired Germany-based Proweps Envirotech GmbH, specializing in technologies for biogas production from organic waste. Founded by Mainak Chakraborty and Sreekrishna Sankar, GPS Renewables provides holistic solutions for biofuels development and distribution.
